I have been pleasantly surprised to receive phone calls and emails to remind me that it has been just over three months since our last blood donation camp held on 25th of April. I am absolutely proud of the CATS who have made Blood Donation a way of life (some even claim to be getting withdrawl symptoms!)
CATS, our third Blood Donation Camp is being organised:
Date: Friday, 01st of Aug'08
Time: 8.30am - 5.00pm
Venue: Rotary and Blood Bank Resource Centre, Sector 37, Chandigarh (Next to Law Bhawan on the same road as Batra Cinema Hall)
Cause: Heartline Project
Target: 50 Units
NB: PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE CHANGE IN VENUE
It would not cost you anything and it does not really hurt anymore than a standard blood test would. Our permanent donor CATS know all about Heartline, however, we have had new members joining us since April. The only photograph from this memorable trip which indeed deserves a place of pride in our photo gallery... CAT Manpreet has since left us to join her new position in a US Hospital and CATS would miss her terribly... She's one adventerous soul who would come and join us even if she did not have a clue as to where were we taking her! We wish CAT Manpreet a wonderful future and a beautiful life ahead.
